Faith Formation for Youth and Adults – New way to Catechize
We have partnered with Sacred Heart in Seymour for a subscription to Formed: A technology platform for the delivery of award-winning Catholic content, children’s programming, audio talks, e-books and more. Everyone, young and old, can log on and register free and use any menus listed.
Registering for FORMED:
- Go to https://formed.org/signup
- Select your parish (Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Seymour, TX)
- Register with your name and email address
- Check that email account for a link to begin using FORMED
Holy Family Religious Education
On Wednesday evenings there will be a Children's Mass starting on October 7th at 6pm where the homily will be geared toward children. Everyone is welcome to attend this Mass. And we encourage families to attend together. The weeks of October 14th and 28th, Fr. Phil will be out of town, but we will still have the gathering and will have the Safe Environment Program for children and youth, as well as other programing. On October 28th we will resume Masses with Fr. Phil. Youth Rosary will be immediately following the Mass starting at 7pm. The Youth Rosary will begin on October 7th as well.

Safe Environment
In keeping with the diocesan policy and the charter of the USCCB, we ask all volunteers to complete the safe environment classes. Contact the pastoral offices to inquire about classes.
Check Virtus.org for upcoming classes or contact the church office.
Those who wish to join an online session must log into VIRTUS and register for one of the Protecting God’s Children for Adults sessions scheduled that has the location set as z_Other of the time and date that is convenient for you.
Try to pre-register the day before at least so that the Moderator has time to send the email link for the Zoom Online Session in time before the session would commence.
The Notes for these sessions will read: Program will be provided online through Zoom. Provide a contact email address to receive an invitation for the session you choose, then open the link sent to you in the email invitation for the ZOOM session to join in the online. Please test your equipment (sound and video) prior to starting the class.
